11 years waiting for this RPG, and now that it has a demo on Steam it is finally meeting expectations

Having been funded in 2012, it’s one of those indies whose wait it is making me eternal, and more without having been able to prove it… until now. Today I am here to talk to you about one of the games that I most want to see come out, and whose demo you can play today.

But,what does this curious title have to have caught my attention? Well, the first and most obvious thing is her artistic style. In 6E6E6E’s game (yes, its creators call themselves that), you’re going to have equal parts action and exploration. It is a minimalist journey that puts you in the feet of an immortal adventurer. Within a megacity run down eons ago, the game wants to take you to all its corners: from the most bombastic halls and rooms to the most decadent parts of the metropolis. Far from escaping, your only way is To go downimmersing yourself in these desolate spaces.

These trips, obviously, are not going to be exempt from dangers, but rather the opposite. with traps, tons of enemies and awesome bosses that will test your limits, this game is more than a collection of Esports Extras art and cool views. You are going to have to be agile and use your resources well to get out of their ambushes and encounters unscathed, something that is not going to be easy considering the influences of this indie. Its creators have been inspired by classics like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night or Dark Souls itself for this adventure.

As if all this were not enough, you will also have the most technical parts of an RPG. Its creators talk about a unique progression system that will allow you to create your own builds and unlock both improvements and new abilities. Being able to adapt these to the experience you are looking for, you will be able to adapt the title to your own style of play. Unfortunately, this is not very present in the trial version.

While it is true that, as cool as everything is, Radio the Universe is not reinventing gunpowder, the demo has made it clear to me that its greatest asset is the way it has present their proposals. It is an adventure as atmospheric as it is frantic and tense, seeking to mix a sensation of exciting discovery with a certain air of decadence and longing. Of course, testing it has shown me that 6E6E6E have on their hands quite a winning formula.

The best of all is not that the indie title has finally shown signs of life, that I have been able to play it or that I have been amazed, no. The best thing about Radio the Universe is that you can play too to their first demo in a decade, albeit for a limited time. The Steam Next Fest is a Valve event where independent games let you taste exclusive demos for a limited timeand this is one of the games that have caught my attention the most from him.

Now comes the jug of cold water. If you have tried the demo (or feel like it), you have to know that the title still does not have no launch window.
