140 hours awake: Nobody sleeps in Hogwarts Legacy and it’s completely absurd
This is what the students at Hogwarts Legacy should look like, judging by their sleeping habits.
What do you think is the rarest event in Hogwarts Legacy? Meet the Kraken? See the Hogwarts Express pull into the station? Or maybe fly past a kite? No, all of this is nothing compared to what is perhaps one of the rarest events in the entire game: namely, finding another person asleep.
What sounds completely absurd at first seems to be everyday life at Hogwarts. Although there are more than enough beds in the game, hardly any of them are ever occupied. Whole dormitories are swept empty and even in the sickroom the beds seem to be more of a decoration.
But actually it’s possible to find sleeping people – although some fans here have other theories.
Fantastic Sleep and Where to Find It: Not at Hogwarts
The discovery comes from a fan who put a full 140 hours into the game before seeing a sleeping person for the first time. In the shared Reddit post, a student can be seen lying fully clothed (including shoes!) on one of the hospital wing beds, seemingly asleep peacefully.
Although, maybe not that peaceful, because the person’s eyes are wide open and staring at the ceiling. Some fans joke under the entry that the student is probably not sleeping at all, but was either caught by the Petrificus Totalus spell or must have indirectly come into contact with the petrifying gaze of the basilisk.
The whole thing looks a little spooky:

Hogwarts Legacy – These 17 magical details are hidden in the game
This extremely odd sleep pattern doesn’t even seem uncommon at Hogwarts. As another fan reports, even the professors don’t go to bed. Rather, they stand in a corner of the castle and wait there until morning.

Do they at least sleep standing up? Let’s hope, after all, as we all know, most accidents happen when you’re overtired – and that can have bad consequences with a magic wand. Or maybe everyone at Hogwarts lives on magical energy drinks all the time? It seems at least almost the only explanation why not every single person in the game is completely overtired.
Can you think of an explanation for these strange sleeping habits?
