A 21-year-old woman from Orlando, Fla., has confessed to stabbing her 20-year-old sister three or four times in the heart, US media reports. The sister had played the online shooter Valorant with the friend of the 21-year-old and spoke to him via the in-game chat. The 21-year-old shared a bedroom and bed with her sister; the attack occurred while the sister was asleep.
This is the process described in fact: The 21-year-old was in a long-distance relationship with her boyfriend. But he played the online shooter Valorant with her sister and talked to her about the game’s in-game chat.
The 21-year-old and other witnesses said: She was uncomfortable with her boyfriend’s relationship with her sister and found the relationship inappropriate.
After learning her boyfriend had told her sister he loved her, the 21-year-old ordered a “dagger-like” set of knives from Amazon and hid the set in her closet.
She waited until 4:30 am on September 26 for her parents to fall asleep and stabbed her sister in the heart three or four times.
It was only 15 hours later, at 7:30 p.m., that she reported her crime to the authorities. The called rescue workers determined the death of the sister.
What does the indictment say? According to the logic of the indictment, this was an act with intent, because the perpetrator waited until the family was asleep to murder her sister. Nobody should hear the incident:
The perpetrator made a conscious decision to kill her sister and the decision was present in her mind at the time of the act.
Perpetrator shared bedroom and bed with the victim
What does the perpetrator say? The perpetrator told police she and her sister shared a bedroom and bed. That’s why she could see her sister talking to her boyfriend. When she confronted them about it, she told them she didn’t think it was good. But she felt her sister didn’t respect her objections.
When she stabbed her sister at night, the 20-year-old is said to have woken up and said: “What the fuck” and “Help”. The perpetrator says her sister “moved too much.”
After the fact, she considered taking her own life, but was dissuaded by another sibling.
How’s that going? The 21-year-old is being held without bail in the Orange County Jail and charged with first degree murder.
