There is no doubt that Marvel has made history in the world of cinema, but for whatever it is, it is costing them more in video games. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is, in that sense, the company’s best recent title within the sector that concerns us. Avengers disappointed, Midnight Suns is for a more specific audience, and Snap is fantastic, but it’s a mobile game. Guardians of the Galaxy has everything you’d ask for in an action-adventure game and far exceeds it.
A script worthy of Game Award
It’s not for nothing that Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy won the Best Narrative award at The Game Awards 2021. Eidos Montreal not only built an attractive, interesting and emotional story, but the dialogues between the characters are accurate, full of sarcasm and wit and even hilarious. On a narrative level, the game has very fresh ideas and implements them like a charm, making it a must for lovers of single player story games.

Surprisingly fun combat
It may not seem like it at first glance at a trailer, but Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy’s combat is one of its best facets. Even though it is the Guardians of the Galaxy game, we only directly control Star-Lord. With it we shoot, we can levitate, attack melee or perform special abilities. But we also have a series of commands that allow us to use Rocket, Gamora, Groot and Drax’s own abilities at convenience, and even perform spectacular combos with them.
