A Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty developer asks to check the PC’s cooling
The expansion Phantom Liberty (September 26) and the accompanying update bring numerous improvements to Cyberpunk 2077so many that a CD Projekt RED developer recommends checking the status of our PC and its cooling system before returning to Night City. These are the requirements of the expansion, higher than what this action RPG had in its debut.
Before releasing CP2077 2.0 and PL please check conditions of your cooling systems in PC. We use all what you have, so workload on CPU 90% on 8 core is expected. To save your time please run Cinebench or similar and check stability of your systems ðhttps://t.co/TWOAkP0ONuâ Filip PierÅciÅski (@FilipPierciski) September 11, 2023
Programmer Filip PierÅciÅski has posted a message about version 2.0 and recommends “checking the status of the cooling system on PC. We use everything you have, so expect a 90% CPU workload on all 8 cores“. To avoid overheating, we recommend tools like Cinebench or similar to check the stability of the PC.
Cinebench, based on Cinema 4D technology, is a free program that tests the power of your PC: “Cinebench offers a real-world benchmark that incorporates a user’s common tasks when using Cinema 4D and Redshift to measure a system’s performance,” says Maxon.
