Diablo 4 should also offer all sorts of new content in Season 2.

Season 2 of Diablo 4 starts on October 17th, for which Blizzard has made a lot of plans, according to current statements and after sharp criticism of the currently running season. In order to boost the hype for the new content, several developers have now contacted us via X/Twitter and made it unmistakably clear that big things are coming.

Two live streams are necessary to show all the innovations

As a reminder: The “Season of Blood” was officially revealed during gamescom and, as the name suggests, revolves around the overall theme of vampires.

Blizzard, in the form of Rod Fergusson and Adam Fletcher, has now made it clear what we know about Season 2, more on that further down in the article, but that’s not all.

“It’s really a lot. I expected both streams to last about 2 hours.”

Four hours full of information about Season 2 sounds like a lot on paper. Time will tell whether the content will encourage us to return to action RPGs.

What is already known about Diablo 4 Season 2

What is known is that it is on October 17, 2023 starts and the “Season of Blood” delivers the following content:

  • new questline
  • new vampire abilities
  • new NPC companion
  • five new endgame bosses

The biggest innovation in Season 2 so far is certainly the companion and vampire hunter Erys, who supports you in the fight against the hellish minions with her crossbow. Hopefully we will find out shortly what else Blizzard has come up with.

Unfortunately, there is no exact date for the live streams yet.

Will you be playing Season 2 again or are you already done with Diablo 4 in a year packed with so many good games?
