Perhaps the first great console FPS returns remastered to this generation. In the Nintendo Direct held today, they announced the launch of the remaster of Golden Eye, the Nintendo 64 classic, for Switch, but as we expected, with obvious leaks included, it will also reach Xbox consoles fully improved and of course, as everything that Xbox Game Studios brings will come to Xbox Game Pass.

As we can see in RARE’s own tweet, after 25 years, Golden Eye 007 has been recreated for Xbox consoles with all possible luxuries: 4K resolution and improved framerate and even local split-screen multiplayer.

Golden Eye 007 is coming to Xbox Game Pass very soon

It is the only information that we are clear about, because despite being online even the achievements of Golden Eye since the beginning of the year, it does not seem to have a fixed release date yet. In fact, it is even possible that it came to Nintendo Switch earlier, as can be interpreted by RARE’s own tweets, but it is something that is unconfirmed.
