After seeing this trailer we are clear about one thing: hopefully a Red Dead Redemption 2 series at the level of The Last of Us
The Arcane and Edgerunners series made us dream, but HBO’s The Last of Us has put us in orbit around Saturn. We have reasons to want more video game series. Amazon is already preparing the God of War series, so we only have one great work left to adapt to the format: Red Dead Redemption II. And this fan trailer is going to make you dream!
The channel Tension Films, which makes cinematic videos of video games, has published a video of Red Dead Redemption II. It is titled “Outlaws for Life” (Outlaws forever), it surpasses many official trailers and has made us want an adaptation of the game at the height of The Last of Us.
The fan trailer shows scenes from the Red Dead Redemption II campaign with Arthur Morgan as the protagonist and adds the song Growing Up London (Daniel Pemberton) from the film soundtrack King Arthur: The Legend of Excalibur. It is very important to note that they have not had access to the Rockstar Editor for Red Dead Redemption 2 and that it has been done using Nexusmod’s “Cinematic Camera 4.0” mod.
A series adaptation of Red Dead Redemption II I would have it much more uphill than The Last of Us, even if it was at the same height, because the western genre It does not attract as much as the post-apocalyptic. In any case, nothing takes away the desire for a series after watching this incredible video.
