The Super Mario film currently in cinemas is also a huge success thanks to numerous allusions for fans. The animated strip has already grossed well over 800 million dollars worldwide, making it the highest-grossing video game adaptation to date.

It’s no wonder, then, that the calls for more film adaptations of the stories of well-known characters from the video game universe are now getting louder. For example, Toys for Bob recently tweeted that it was the Time for a Crash Bandicoot movie were. Which in turn made us in the editorial team consider which character YOU would like to see on the big screen in the near future. We have now poured this question into a survey.

However, in order to keep the whole thing in context, we limit ourselves to well-known PlayStation characters. And yes, Crash Bandicoot is now multiplatform, but is still very strongly associated with the PlayStation because the early days of the series in the 90s were only playable there.

A notice: We deliberately left out characters like Aloy (Horizon), Kratos (God of War) or Ellie and Joel (The Last of Us) because they either already got a series adaptation or will get it in the future. So you can only choose figures for which no actual implementation has yet been announced.

Spyro? The Helghast from Killzone? Or would you prefer AstroBot?
