Alan Wake 2 is delayed 10 days. Remedy, the developer company, has announced that the long-awaited release of Alan Wake 2, which was scheduled for October 17, will be postponed to October 27.

In a releaseRemedy explained that October is packed with game releases and that they wanted to give players more space to enjoy everything.

“October is an amazing month for game releases and we hope this date change provides more space for everyone to enjoy their favorite games.”Remedy said.

Alan Wake 2 was scheduled to release the same week as Spider-Man 2, Insomniac’s massive PlayStation exclusive. In 2010, launch sales of the first Alan Wake took a hit as it released the same week as Rockstar’s mammoth, Red Dead Redemption.

October 2023 also marks the release of Microsoft’s Forza Motorsport, Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Nintendo’s Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and Sega’s reportedly Sonic Superstars.
