The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask (2000)

The moment of greatest impact of the Skull Kid was in Majora’s Maskthe sequel to Ocarina of Time. After the events of the first Nintendo 64 installment, Link begins a journey on Epona, his mare, to find Navi. His former adventure partner, now unaccounted for, is the “culprit” of the clash suffered by the hero of Hyrule who, in the end, will be the cause of the events of Majora´s Mask.

From the first moment, this Skull Kid is shown to be hostile and uninterested in our well-being. After stealing the Ocarina of Time, Link recovers from a spectacular fall and, despite trying to avoid it, he can’t stop the Skull Kid from running away with Epona. Later, in our next meeting, the antagonist would confirm that he got rid of the mare and, furthermore, would enchant Link with the power of his mask to turn him into a Deku Scrub.

Majora’s Maskone of the most sinister titles of The Legend of Zelda, puts us in a mess from the first moment. Unlike other more cheerful proposals in the series, in this one they alert us that the world will end in 3 days. Therefore, our mission will be, in addition to recovering what has been stolen from us, to avoid the destruction of a world that seems to have signed its death sentence. And, as you may have guessed, this will not be an easy task.

As is inevitable, the events of twilight princess They lead us to face the Skull Kid of this title. However, unlike what happened in the Nintendo 64 proposal, in this one the member of the race is a mini-boss more anecdotal than complicated. Even so, this does not prevent some curious situation, such as the origin of the song he plays with his trumpet.
