America already has its VALORANT players association

After months of working behind the scenes, VALORANT players in North America have joined forces to create their own association. A part of the professionals has created the VALORANT Players Association of America (Americas VALORANT Players Association), following the example of the members of the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS). The association has the support of the LCSPA -its emulator within the North American League of Legends- and is mainly led by Taylor Broomall «tailored«, formerly a trainer of TSM.

«The mission of this group is to ensure that players receive full protection of all their rights as athletes. Immediate goals include establishing leadership, launching a database of VALORANT player contracts, and building player protections at all levels.“, affirms the association through an official statement. Unlike the LCS player association, the VALORANT association encompasses all of America, following the format of the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT).

Despite the support of the LCSPA, the VALORANT Players Association of America has no financial ties to Riot Games. Tailored He is the visible face of the association by being at Prodigy, one of the most important player agencies in the sector. As far as VALORANT is concerned, the agency is in charge of representing players like Tyson Ngo”TenZ» or Adil Benrlitom «Scream«. «We will work to amplify opportunities available to all players by creating a group rights program, providing educational tools and building a network of advisors.“, explains the association in its statement.

The next big date of the international VALORANT will be the LOCK / IN, the inaugural tournament of the next VCT. The event will be held at the Ginásio do Ibirapuera in São Paulo, Brazil and will have a face-to-face audience. At the moment, the response from the Brazilian fans is great, since the tickets for the final have sold out. The LOCK/IN has as a great incentive the participation of all the clubs accepted in the new VCT system. The 10 teams from each region will fight for the first title of 2023.
