The next Henry Cavill and Amazon Studios project based on the Warhammer 40,000 universe could feature another superstar in actress Ana de Armas, if negotiations go ahead.
According to Giant Freakin Robot, the star of Daggers in the Back, Blade Runner 2049, and Blonde would be playing an unknown role, but considering we don’t know who Cavill will be playing, it’s not exactly surprising.
Details about the series remain scarce, and the possible participation of Ana de Armas does not give us many more clues about what it could really be about. Since Warhammer 40,000 is such a vast setting, the story could take multiple directions.
If Ana de Armas is cast in the series, it is likely that it will draw even more eyes after Cavill’s involvement as lead and producer was announced. That also means more pressure on Amazon to live up to the expectations of the Warhammer 40,000 fanbase.
