Aquaman: another actor to play the superhero? Jason Momoa responds

If the future choices of DC Studios are still unclear, we have the beginning of an answer on the future of Aquaman which is interpreted by Jason Momoa. Explanations.

Since James Gunn and Peter Safran are CEOs of DC Studios we know that the actors of the SnyderVerse are mostly on the sidelines like Henry Cavill and until recently it didn’t smell very good for Aquaman. In this context, actor Jason Momoa who plays the character spoke in an interview with Variety.

Aquaman dead or alive?

It was therefore during an interview with Variety, that Momoa was able to explain what it is about the future ofAquaram. His statement is divided into two distinct parts, one on the film’s script and one on his attachment to the superhero and the strong bond (and even love) he has for the superhero:

The best part is that my partner and I wrote the first treatment of it and it was a 55-page draft, and a lot of it saw me speaking at the UN about what’s going on with the melting of the ice caps

There is no distant galaxy coming to destroy us or aliens from elsewhere. It is we who are ruining our planet. We must come together and save our home.

He then reaffirmed:

I will always be Aquaman. We have many good things to come.

And the actor seems to speak knowingly since he had the opportunity to meet with James Gunn and Peter Safran to talk about the future. If in the interview he remains quite secret, on his personal Instagram account he explains that everything went well:

Good news with Warner. Unbelievable ! I wish I could tell you, but there it is! Peter, I love you. James, I love you… Forward, forward.”

So there’s a good chance the actor could continue in the role. It remains to be seen now whether or not another film is going to be planned in the near future.
