Armored Core 6 has a new gameplay trailer and confirms a release date for FromSoftware’s mechas
As anticipated in recent days, Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon has returned to the fray with a new trailer gameplay. FromSoftware’s next release not only shows its face for the first time since the Game Awards 2022, but also confirms departure date and special editions; as well as offering new details about its gameplay and its history. We will have him with us soon enough; It will arrive on August 25 on PC via Steam.
The game takes us to Rubicon 3, a planet in flames where several corporations fight each other for control of a substance called Coral, whose properties allow it to function as fuel among other equally important uses. Our role in all this is that of a mercenary anyone fighting for the highest payer under a shadowy contractor named Walter, though eventually the story will orbit around us.
On a playable level, AC6 is expected to stay true to its roots: it will have incredibly agile and intense combat where long and short distances intersect without interruption, as well as blunders that send us straight to the garage for modify our wicks until they are able to face the mission. Thanks to the knowledge acquired with the games of the Souls series, yes, the controls or the classic interfaces will be more affordable.

Unfortunately, it is still early to know specific details of the PC version, such as system requirements or potential exclusive features such as a hypothetical Steam Deck verification; and knowing FromSoftware’s history, for now, let’s pray.
