Assassin’s Creed Origins will receive the 60 fps patch on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S very soon

Assassin’s Creed Origins was a turning point in the history of the Ubisoft saga, taking its historical setting further than ever, by Ancient Egyptin the 1st century BC, and with more weight in RPG mechanics.

It came out in 2017 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, and will soon receive a next-gen patch which will free up the framerate. The same thing happened in the summer of 2021 with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, which even received a crossover with Valhalla in which Eivor and Kassandra met (will they do the same with Bayek?).

This user points out that its launch could take place next week, between May 24 and 26. Patch 1.60 will only add a “Franchise Menu” and allow the highest framerate when playing it on PS5.

We should hope that this patch will be released at the same time as the Xbox One version of Assassin’s Creed Origins, allowing the game to run at 60fps or higher on an Xbox Series X or Series S.

As for the franchise menu, it would simply be a menu that allows access to other products of the Assassin’s Creed franchise.
