Avatar Frontiers of Pandora: Filter details about its history and gameplay

A leaker who in recent days has shared the extras of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and a couple of screenshots he shared just a few hours ago some possible details about the story, weapons, scrolling mechanics, open world and much more about this title developed by Massive Entertainment.

As we can read in the tweets that have already been removed from the platform due to a copyright claim, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will put players in the shoes of a Na’vi who was kidnapped by the Administration for Resource Development. (RDA) as a child and was “trained and molded to serve his purposes,” but now he must “reconnect with their ancient heritage and join other clans to protect Pandora”. Apparently, the game will supposedly take place in the Western Continent, which is a continent “never seen before” on the planet, and consist of “beautiful but unpredictable open-world regions, where letting your guard down can lead to deadly mistakes.”

What do we know about combat and other mechanics?

As for combat, it looks like players will have access to a wide variety of weapons, both Na’vi and human, as the protagonist has also undergone rigorous training. Na’vi weapons will include bows and spears, while human weapons will be more conventional, such as assault rifles and shotguns. Regarding the progression mechanics, players will be able to customize their characters by creating new equipment and improving their abilities and weapons.

Thus, players will be able to capture their personal Banshee and establish a bond with the creature. Banshees will not only be used for airborne combat, but also for traveling long distances across the open world in a very short time.
