The JRPG had already received several criticisms for the choice of the PS2 version as a base, which ran at 30 fps instead of the 60 fps of the GameCube, and for discarding the weak sequel that was included in the previous remaster. Not only that, the players of Tales of Symphonia Remastered have seen certain distorted textures by artificial intelligence that has been used to try to improve quality or missing graphic effects. To these problems that also appear on PS4 and Xbox One are added others on Nintendo Switch, including a frame rate little fluid and inferior to the originals and longer loading times than on PS2which has received numerous complaints on social networks.

A good game, a very improvable remaster

Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Editiona Square Enix remaster, also suffered from a much-discussed remaster that just received a bug-fixing update, one year after debut.
