DC has given Batman a suit very similar to Marvel’s Dare*text muted*.
Over the years, DC and Marvel fans have exposed many similarities between two of the most prominent characters from each franchise, Batman and Dare*text muted*. His tragic experiences, his characteristic fighting techniques and his dark “aura”, so to speak, are some of the aspects that make these two heroes quite similar.
And not only that, well, it should be noted that, recently, in a Batman comic, The Dark Knight has obtained a new suit very similar to Dare*text muted*’s, giving these two heroes one more similarity to add to the list. Next, we will tell you all the details about it, but you should know that this post contains spoilers for volume #3 of the comic Knight Terrorfrom DC.
Batman has obtained a new suit extremely similar to that of Dare*text muted* in a recent comic
In comic book history Knight Terrorwritten and illustrated by Joshua Williamson, Giuseppe Camuncoli, Stefano Nesi, Caspar Wijngaard and Frank Martin, the fearsome and despicable villain known as Insomnia has trapped each and every hero and villain in the Realm of Nightmaresmaking use of his dark magic.
However, while most sleep, some non-biological heroes or powerful magical characters who still retain their consciousness, such as Robot Man and Zatanna, have been fighting the villain’s Sleepless Knights.
Another of the characters who managed to preserve his consciousness is nothing more and nothing less than Batman, who finds himself possessed by Deadmanand has not been trapped in the Realm of Nightmares thanks to its powers.
At a certain point in volume #3 of the aforementioned comic, Batman/Deadman meets Robin (Damian Wayne), Batman’s son, who admits to having used various meditation techniques to escape the dark magic of Insomnia, and that, later , together, they enter the world between dreams, where Batman/Deadman Gets a New Suit.
As you can see, the suit he is wearing now is red, instead of the gray or blue that we are used to seeing in the suits that Batman has used over the years, also having the feature that on his chest he carries a badge that mixes a bat with the letter “D” from Deadman.
Although it is more than evident that the letter “D” and the characteristic red color in his suit are due to the fact that Batman is possessed by Deadman, the truth is that, With this suit, Batman looks very similar to the Marvel hero, Dare*text muted*..
And it is that, throughout his eight decades in comics, Batman has worn hundreds of different suits that, in the vast majority of cases, are mainly blue, gray and black, but he had never been seen wearing an all red suit before.
Although this new suit is just to make the distinction that Batman is possessed by Deadman, it really sets a great resemblance between the Dark Knight and Dare*text muted* from Marvel, two heroes who turn out to be more similar than one thinks.
