Source: GSC Game WorldThe creators of Stalker 2 thank the Czechs for their help and support
In the article we can learn, among other things, that you studio chose as the seat of the new Prague branch mainly thanks to the friendly atmosphere of the local gaming industry and the rental prices. At least that’s what the executive producer claims Maria Grygorovych. But we also have here two recent screenshots, which bring closer the special charm of the Chernobyl Zone, in which the entire STALKER series so far takes place. Two more screenshots later they published on social networks by the creators themselves.
Even the new images, like the recently released trailer, give the impression that the developers at GSC Game World are managing to use the Unreal 5 engine to properly depict the atmosphere of the Zone as we know it from the games STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl, STALKER: Clear Sky and STALKER: Call of Pripyat or from the plethora of community mods. Everything from weapons to mutants to elements of the environment itself must therefore be quite familiar, especially to veterans. It’s just that it all looks significantly better than during the reEsports Extrasof the old and more or less good X-Ray engine. The screenshots also offer another look at the new, modern user interface.
STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl will be released during 2023 in a version for PC (Steam, GOG.com, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store) and Xbox Series X|S. The game will be available in the Game Pass menu from the day of release and will offer on all platforms official Czech subtitles. According to unconfirmed information, it can also be released on other platforms after three months.
The STALKER 2 team has a game to ship, yes, but they also need to ensure the safety of their staff whenever the bombs start falling. https://t.co/e1AD3tl1uB
