Beyond Good & Evil could be coming to modern platforms soon with an anniversary remaster edition of the game. There are no signs of its sequel yet.
As reported by Gematsu, the Electronic Software Rating Board (ESRB) has rated Beyond Good & Evil: 20th Anniversary Edition for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
The ESRB summary for the game describes it as an action-adventure game in which players take on the role of a reporter accompanied by a pig-like sidekick. On the Hillys’ planet, the two investigate a conspiracy by exploring fantasy locations, taking photos of evidence, solving puzzles, and fighting enemies.
Ubisoft has not officially announced a Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary Edition remaster, so its release is not guaranteed, although it is possible.
The original was released in 2003 for PC, PlayStation 2, Nintendo Gamecube, and original Xbox. Then it was ported to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2011. Becoming a true classic.
