The Early Access release of Disney Dreamlight Valley on September 6th and, apart from individual performance problems on Nintendo Switch, with a lovingly designed alternative to the Switch-exclusive Animal Crossing: New Horizons shine and brings the successful game principle with well thought-out additional options to other platforms. A patch is also expected to be released next week to improve performance on the Nintendo Switch. In-game purchases are neither disruptive nor particularly necessary, since you can also collect numerous new cosmetic items in the game itself.
Disney Dreamlight Valley was released on September 6th in Early Access for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One | Series, PlayStation 4 | 5 and for PC and has also been available in Xbox Game Pass since release. Currently, the game can be purchased through Founder’s Packs, which contain additional in-game currency and exclusive items. The official free-to-play release will then follow sometime in 2023.
