The sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) is one of the most anticipated games of the year. It’s funny how that delivery has ended up becoming the rebirth of Call of Dutypublishing an addendum to your multiplayer, Call of Duty Warzoneand polishing the mechanics and visual aspects of the saga to give it a breath of fresh air. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been widely shown in several of its aspects, leaving the multiplayer as the last card as usual in the releases of the saga. To warm up for the reveal of CoD’s most important mode, Activision has published a new video in which we can see part of the campaign, with surprise:
Early access to the campaEsports Extrasfor those who book digitally!
The video itself just skims over the approach to one of the main quests. As always, we will embody the elite soldier who has no rival on the battlefield. In the last edition of the Summer Game Fest we were able to take a look at an almost complete mission that reminded us a lot of what we saw in the Modern Warfare 2 original and even Call of Duty 4so that we assume that the campaEsports Extrasitself will be full of nostalgia and anchors to the original installments of Modern Warfare. The great news, however, is that those who pre-order the game digitally on any platform will be able to play the campaEsports Extrasa week early.
Early access will be on October 20and a week later we will have multiplayer active. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 officially launches on October 28 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. The release of the sequel is expected to go hand in hand with the arrival of Call of Duty Warzone 2which should be released on November 16 if the leaks are correct, although nothing official has been published yet.
