Although we don’t know the details yet, Activision has already revealed when Season 4 begins.e Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0 and along with the launch date gave us a first look at Nikto, the new weapons, the new Vondel map, game modes and more.

When does season 4 start Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0?

According to what was revealed in the official accounts of CoD on social networks, the start date of season 4 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0 will be the Wednesday June 14, 2023. The update is usually active at 12:00 noon (Colombia, Peru and Ecuador time)but it is almost always available to be downloaded hours before.

new map for Warzone: Vondel

This new scenario whose existence had already been leaked before, has a medium size. It is available for both DMZ (18 players) and Resurgence mode (72 players).

Vondel has 15 points of interest, including an abandoned zoo, a soccer stadium, and a medieval-style castle. They are all interconnected by a system of canals that serve as river routes.

New game mode in Warzone

• lock down: In this ‘Hardpoint’ inspired game mode, squads must capture and hold control of zones around the map. It allows custom equipment and will be available for a limited time.

In addition to the new exclusion zone on the new Vondel map, season 4 brings a base of operations that will serve as a ‘hub menu’ from which we can organize our weapons, equipment, objectives and the new urgent missions.

You will also be welcome a new faction called the Phalanxhe amphibious vehicle (TAV) and the new system of dynamic fog. New events can also be activated.

New multiplayer maps for mwii

Season 4 will add six new multiplayer maps to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. These are Showdownan old acquaintance of CoD4:MW; he Kunstenaar district from Vondel; The market of Las Almas for Shooting; a penthouse in a Chicago building also for Gunfight; the Mawizeh swamps for big battles; and the Ahkdar villa of Al-Mazrah also for battles.

Later in the season they will also add the vondel boardwalk as a map to the game.

Who is the new operator?

His name is Nikto. This Russian soldier is a Spetsnaz from the Alliance that we already met in the previous Modern Warfare.

Nikto will be key in the new Raid on Vondel event which will last until July 7. By completing event challenges together with the entire community of Warzone new features will be unlocked such as chests with each player’s favorite team, reinforcement flares and even a new melee weapon: the tonfa.

This season will come Tempus Razorback Assault Rifle, available in sector D13 of the new battle pass; the ISO 45 submachine gun, in sector D19 of the battle pass; and the tonfawhich we can get as part of the ‘Assault on Vondel’ event.
