Today’s Capcom Showcase took a look at the latest releases from the prestigious publisher. The digital stream has revealed new updates on upcoming launch titles, including the latest on dinosaurs in Exoprimal™, which announced its second Open Beta, and took a closer look at the perplexing mysteries of Ghost Trick™: Phantom Detective.

The Capcom Showcase also announced multiple titles, including the seductive, Japanese-inspired world of Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddessthe return of the Machiavellian machinations of the courts in Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney™ Trilogyand an immersion in the world of Mega Man™ X DiVE Offline. Get ready, Exoluchadores! Today’s dinosaur forecast revealed that the second open beta of exoprimal it is imminent. Online team action returns Thursday, June 15 at 6pm Mexico City time / 9pm Buenos Aires time / 5pm PDT – Sunday, June 18 at 5:59pm Mexico City time / 8:59pm pm Buenos Aires time / 4:59 pm PDT on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Steam. Open Beta 2 includes new elements, such as 10-player co-op missions and story content, offering deeper insight into the ever-evolving core game mode, Jurassic Tide. Open Beta 2 participants will also be eligible to receive the “Flash” Zephyr skin as a special bonus item in the full game.

A new variant of the Exosuit, the Deadeye α: MkII, was first seen at the Capcom Showcase. Director Takuro Hiraoka also introduced a special cooperative mode, Savage Gauntlet, which challenges teams of five players with PvE missions that vary weekly. Beyond survival, teams can compete with other squads from around the world to complete missions in the fastest time possible. Thirteen years have passed since the original release of Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective and legendary producer Shu Takumi wants to prepare players for the revival of this bouncy classic. Takumi invites detectives from around the world to begin investigating the exciting mystery of Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective with a demo available now on PlayStation®4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™ and PC via Steam.

Capcom’s demo offered a glimpse into the spirit realm with a tutorial on how to use the powers of the dead. Possess and play with objects to help Sissel -our hero and protagonist- change the fates of the living and get one step closer to solving the mystery of his own death.

Get ready to acquire Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective: by pre-ordering now you will receive additional content, including four side banners and two background music tracks! First details of the gameplay of Dragon’s Dogma 2

Director of Dragon’s Dogma 2, Hideaki Itsuno, joined Capcom’s presentation to provide a deeper look at the combat, pawns, and gameplay systems of this highly anticipated action RPG. The classes players choose will determine whether they face enemies with swords or magical spells, and varied elements such as terrain and enemies will create dynamic combat scenarios throughout the game. AI controlled pawns return from Dragon’s Dogma™ original and accompany players throughout their journey to form a party of up to four characters. In addition to customizing their Ascendants, players can also customize their main pawn, who in turn can be recruited by other players’ Ascendants to borrow their skills and knowledge. What pawns learn through these experiences will be reflected in their behavior, making them worthy companions to the player.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 Harnesses the power of the RE ENGINE to create a world four times the size of the Dragon’s Dogma original, densely populated with enemies, events and locations rendered with the latest graphics technology. The environment is complemented by immersive physics and character AI that brings pawns, monsters, and NPCs to life. Pawns organically guide players to new locations, dynamically cooperate during battles, and even react to special moments, like high-five victory celebrations. New and old monsters encourage players to come up with numerous strategies to succeed in combat, or even avoid it altogether. NPCs such as the archer Ulrika, who has a deep connection to the Ascended, or the beastren high priestess Nadinia, will forge intricate relationships with the Ascended that set the stage for nuanced story moments.

Following in the tradition of unique titles like Okami™ and SHINSEKAI Into the Depths™, players will experience a unique mix of strategy and action in this Japanese-inspired world brought to life by the power of the RE ENGINE.

Witness an epic showdown between the spirit realm and mortal man, as the villagers fight to cleanse the sacred mountain they live on. Foul creatures called the Arrepts have besieged the mountain, drawn by the corruption that has spread through the villages. In order to purify the land and seal the arrept, the Spirit Stone Priestess must perform a cleansing rite, but she needs a guide to clear her way.

Capcom celebrates its 40th anniversary this month, and the festivities continued today with details on the many exciting experiences at Capcom Town, a digital theme park commemorating this historic milestone.
