Castti and Ochette, the last two protagonists introduced for Octopath Traveler 2

We’re exactly one month away from the release of Octopath Traveler 2, the sequel to Square Enix’s 2019 2D-HD RPG title. And with that launch in mind, the Japanese studio and publisher has been introducing us to the eight new protagonists who will travel the continent of Solistia in pursuit of their personal goals, and whose paths will intersect.

It’s about the hunter eighth and from the apothecary castti. The first is a true beastmaster, who will also have to choose her animal companion at the beginning of her adventure. The second she belongs to an order of apothecaries of questionable fame, but she has lost her memory and she will have to earn the trust of the inhabitants she meets.

Each of the eight characters will have different secondary missions or alternative paths in their adventure, increasing the options exponentially compared to the first installment. It’s clear there’s a lot to discover in Octopath Traveler II when it launches on February 24 on PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
