Chris Pine to Play the Magnificent King in Upcoming Disney Movie Wish

Disney didn’t have a lot of new information or content to share as part of its panel at the recent CinemaCon, but the entertainment titan did at least leave us with confirmation of a new cast member for his upcoming animated film, Wish.

Following his appearance as Edgin the Bard in Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, Chris Pine will voice the character of the Magnificent King in the film, a character he has described as the “Ruler of the Kingdom of Rosas”.

Disney accompanied this announcement with an image of the Magnificent King, which you can see below along with the first trailer. Wish will be released in theaters on November 24 of 2023.
