Creative Assembly, creators of Total War, found a new studio: Creative Assembly North

Creative Assembly it’s a big game studio that has managed to become one of the benchmarks of strategy thanks to the Total War saga that all lovers of the genre know, in addition to also creating Halo Wars 2 or, moving away from strategy, the terrifying Alien Isolation.

Now the developer plans to expand with the creation of his third studio, Creative Assembly Northwhich will be based in the city of Newcastle, United Kingdom, and which is part of an ambitious expansion plan thanks to which the team will hire more than 100 people over the next few years.

The director of this new study will be Giselle Stewart who has more than 26 years of experience in AAA video game development and, according to her, “start a new development studio from scratch with the full support and insights of one of the UK’s oldest and largest studios it’s incredibly exciting. We are embracing flexibility, rapid iteration, and studio creation while fostering cross-team collaboration.”

“We bring new job opportunities northwest, building a studio that amplifies the fantastic culture and values ​​of Creative Assemble. We will also expand the reach of the studio’s award-winning outreach program, Legacy Project, to support excellence in industry education in this region,” concludes the director of Creative Assembly North.

Three games in the future from Creative Assembly

As for the future of Creative Assembly in video games, the Esports Extrasntic studio is currently preparing three titles and, interestingly, two of them are action. The first is hyneasa shooter that had a closed beta last January, the second is an action game yet to be announced and the third is another secret project that is probably a new installment of the Total War saga.
