Dead Island 2 Highlights Critical Praise In New Trailer

Dead Island 2 of Dambuster Studios was released this week after almost a decade long development period. While it remains to be seen if sales accompany the game, the zombie hack-and-slash title has received some critical praise.

As one of the Slayers in Los Angeles, aptly named Los Diablos after the latest outbreak, players must slay hordes of the undead to stand a chance of survival. With the FLESH system, it allows you to eliminate zombies in a realistic and procedural way. Despite being a linear experience, Dead Island 2 it still offers around 20 hours of gameplay when it focuses on the story and does some side content.

In terms of post-launch support, there will be expansions, though Dambuster and Deep Silver haven’t provided any details on their release dates.
