Deceit 2 announced, a new asymmetric multiplayer for PlayStation, Xbox and PC
The independent studio World Makers has announced Deceit 2, the continuation of its highly rated asymmetric multiplayer. This project is in development with a view to being released sometime in 2023and for the first time it will not be exclusive to PC, but will also reach PS5, Xbox Series X / S, PS4 and Xbox One.
“Deceit 2 is a social game terror and deduction for between 6 and 9 players, among which there are two infected characters. The infected must obey the Gamemaster’s orders and the innocent have to collaborate to escape from the Ritual and discover who is against you”, we read in its official description on Steam. The announcement of the new game has been accompanied by a first trailer which you can see below:
Deceit 2a project that wants to extend the original
As we told you, this project continues what it has been doing Deceit since its premiere in 2017 and expands it with new features: while the previous one limited the number of players to six, now up to nine people can play, two of them being infected. there will also be three new characters, maps, an improved combat system, deeper investigation mechanics, and a new focus on narrative. Of course, the graphic section to give it quality next-genaccording to those responsible.
James Thompson, CEO of World Makerswanted to celebrate the announcement of this new game with the following statements: “Deceit 2 ambitiously expands the gameplay of the Deceit original while revising and improving features based on feedback from our community. PC gamers should definitely wishlist on Steam now, but we’ll also be introducing the twisted world of Deceit to console gamers for the first time when Deceit 2 launches on PlayStation and Xbox consoles this year,” he said in a press release.
