Destiny 2: Lightfall – Time, Server Down, Preload
When does Lightfall start? The new DLC starts today, February 28th, at 18:00.
When will the servers go offline? Destiny 2 is conducting a major and most importantly lengthy server maintenance for Lightfall, which will last a total of 24 hours:
- Maintenance begins February 27, 2023 at 5:45 p.m
- This will probably end on February 28, 2023 at 6:00 p.m., just in time for the start of Lightfall
So during the maintenance you can no longer log in and you will be locked out of the loot shooter for a whole day.
Will there be a preload? Yes, this already exists, but this has already caused problems on the PlayStation. Players were then prompted to uninstall and re-download Destiny 2.
