Diablo 2: Resurrected gets 8 new runewords – One could strengthen the druid’s melee combat

Diablo 2: Resurrected will receive eight new rune words with Patch 2.6, which Blizzard had introduced by various YouTubers over the past weekend. One of the new runewords has made a particularly good impression on players because it could boost the druid’s melee combat.

What are these rune words? A total of 8 new runewords were introduced by four different YouTubers over the weekend. The rune word “Metamorphosis” is aimed specifically at the druid and his melee abilities.

With patch 2.4, Diablo 2: Resurrected received 7 new Runewords to test for the PTR in January 2022.

What are rune words? These are combinations of runes that strengthen your weapons, shields, helmets or chest armor and give additional effects.

Patch 2.6 brings 8 new Runewords

What can the new rune words do? The new rune words have different properties and increase, for example, hit recovery or maximum life. Here is an overview of the properties:

“This is going to be very powerful”

Which rune word do fans resonate with? Diablo fans’ initial reactions to the new runewords are mixed. While some players are still unconvinced, one runeword made a solid first impression and was described as “wild” and “powerful”: “Metamorphosis”

Metamorphis was introduced on YouTube by Dbrunski125, is aimed at druid builds and is primarily intended to increase attack power in close combat. On reddit players write:
