During Esports ExtrasFan Fest 2023, Blizzard Entertainment announced the Diablo 4 open beta dates.
The beta will take place from March 24 to 26, and those who pre-purchase will receive early access from March 17 to 19. An opening cinematic trailer for the beta was also revealed. This cinematic is one of many that players will see in the beta and features their custom character.
In a new article, the developer confirmed that the open beta would be available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. Players will explore the Prologue and Act 1, which includes the first zone, Fractured Peaks. The level cap is 25, but characters can continue to play until the end of the open beta.
It does not represent the final experience and performance issues, outages, and other issues may arise. After the conclusion of the open beta, Blizzard will evaluate the feedback and “make any necessary changes.”
Diablo 4 launches on June 6 for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.
