Everything you need to know about the open beta at a glance

Below we will inform you about the beta times, which content is playable in single and multiplayer and also what rewards you can dust off.

Open Beta times:

  • Begin: March 24, 5 p.m
  • End: March 27, 9 p.m

You can already download the beta in advance on all consoles and the PC and are thus well prepared for the start of the open beta. If you’ve already played in Early Access, all you have to do is download a possible update and you’re ready for the beta weekend. More about the preload and the download size:

All content of the beta:

Unlike the Early Access beta, this time you can even play with five playable classes (Barbarian, Huntress, Sorceress, Druid, Necromancer) play the prologue and the ten-hour first act of Diablo 4. You can level a total of ten characters to level 25 and even set a world boss – but only at certain times.

By the way, you cannot transfer your progress to the final game. Accordingly, your characters will be deleted on March 27th at 9 p.m.

Information about co-op and single player

Like the main game, all modes are already playable in the beta. You can either face the demons solo, team up with up to three other friends online, or shred in couch co-op. How exactly the co-op works can be found here:

You can dust off these rewards

So that you don’t go away empty-handed after playing the beta apart from your impressions, you can collect three rewards:

  • Player Title “First Slain”: Reach Kyovashad with one character.
  • Early Explorer Player Title: Reach level 20 with one character.
  • Cosmetic item Beta Wolf Pack: Reach level 20 with one character.

Incidentally, you will only receive the wolf bundle when Diablo 4 is released on June 6th.

Colleagues Ann-Kathrin and Samara have captured our impressions from the early access beta, which has almost the same content. You can find the conclusion of AK in the video above, we have linked the quite positive preview of Diablo 4 from Samara for you.

Diablo 4 will be released on June 6th for PS4, PS5, Xbox consoles and PC. Beforehand you will find a detailed test on GamePro, which will tell you how cool the hack ‘n slash is in single player and also how much fun we had with the MMO aspect and the co-op.
