Those of us who have the Ultimate Edition have been enjoying the new Blizzard game even more for a few days now, but Diablo IV has been released really a few hours ago. Giving early access to special versions of games to those who buy them has always been controversial, but it also leads to some memorable feats.

A press release reveals that Diablo IV has become the fastest selling Blizzard game ever. Kind of weird to say hours after launch, right? Obviously they’ve counted pre-launch unit sales here, but they don’t really give us a figure.

But we can imagine it, because the study claims that Diablo IV has been played for 93 million hours, that is, more than 10,000 years, since Early Access began last week.
