The next major update for Dreamlight Valley is imminent.
It has been known for a long time that Disney Dreamlight Valley would be getting an update in the near future. Only one appointment was missing so far. And even if the developer Gameloft still doesn’t give an exact date, there is finally a concrete indication of when you can download Update 5 onto your hard drive.
When is it time? “At the beginning of June”. This was announced in an update on the official Dreamlight Valley blog and Twitter. So it should only be a few days before the update is released.

What does Update 5 bring?
The new content patch adds some content and features to Dreamlight Valley. These include, among other things:
- Cinderella as a new character
- Umbrellas as new items

There is still a lot to do in the course of the year
In addition to the “date” for update number 5, Gameloft also gave an outlook on the other upcoming content for 2023, i.e. presented a roadmap. It’s still pretty unspecific, but at least it tells you what you can expect in the coming months.
- Summer update: New resident Vanellope (from Ralph enough), a new feature not yet revealed and in-game prizes
- September update: A whole new kingdom, Belle (from Beauty and the Beast) as a character and “more surprises”
- End of 2023: More characters, multiplayer option, a new Royal Tool and more surprises.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Early Access started last September. Since then, the title has already received a number of updates and innovations. In April, Simba and Nala from The Lion King, among others, were added as new characters and a themed kingdom.
