Does Street Fighter 6 have Denuvo? Capcom responds within 3 days of his departure | Top News
There are barely 3 days left for the launch of Street Fighter 6, the sixth chronological installment of the saga. The game comes with very good references and enormous expectations in a summer without direct competition in the genre. However, Does it include Denuvo in your PC version? Capcom has already spoken about it.
The inclusion of Denuvo on PC has become a habit. It is very rare to see an AAA without the most used anti-piracy system, although also the most invasive, on the market. Although 72 hours from launch, the Street Fighter 6 Steam page did not list any additional DRM beyond the agreement we all signed with Capcom upon launching the game. But yeah, Street Fighter 6 will have Denuvo in its PC version.
As we have mentioned, we already sensed that the Japanese game would arrive with this DRM under its belt, but some clung to the idea that after removing Denuvo from Resident Evil Village, Capcom would have given up. Nothing could be further from the truth, even the remake from Resident Evil 4 also included this system.
On the other hand, Street Fighter 6 is not a visual marvel, although it is pretty on its own. Apart from requiring 16GB RAMthere is nothing to indicate that Denuvo’s presence will make an expectedly strong release unplayable, although with anti-cheat you never know.
What do the press think of Street Fighter 6?
What does not think, rather. The launch of the game, at least in sales, is still unknown, but the colleagues who have already tried it have been full of praise for the game. Iván Lerner in Esports Extras advanced in his analysis that Street Fighter 6 “has more competition than ever, but Capcom’s pulse does not tremble to bring out the possible ‘fighting game of the generation of PS5 and Xbox Series X | S”.
