Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons announced for consoles and PC

The editor Modus Games and the developer Secret Base have announced a new entry in the storied franchise Double Dragon. With the name of Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons, the new game is a beat ’em up cooperative in the line of the originals.

Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons It will feature roguelite elements alongside your classic cooperative beat ’em up action. In the game you will be able to choose 13 unique playable characters, each with their own combos and defensive and offensive moves.

For replayability, Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons will allow players to select missions in any order. The choice will affect the duration of the mission, the number of enemies and the overall difficulty, with the ultimate goal of taking down the four deadly gangs in the city by finding and fighting their bosses.

The game will feature Esports Extras art visuals, going back to the roots of the franchise. The game will also feature unlockable bonuses, adjustable difficulty levels, infinite modes, and optional permadeath.
