Thunderful Game, Headup Games and developer Team Meat have announced that Dr. Fetus’ Mean Meat Machine will launch on June 22 on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Unlike the saga super meat boyin this case it is a puzzle game.

“People are going to have a blast trying to pool clones together,” says Tommy Refenes, co-founder of Team Meat. One of the differences with respect to other types of similar games is that in this case there will be traps and chainsaws, obstacles inspired by the fast-paced platform game. There are more than 100 levels and at the end of each world a fearsome boss awaits us.

Its story takes place after the events of Super Meat Boy Forever. “After meticulously analyzing Meat Boy in Super Meat Boy Forever, the evil Dr. Fetus already has all the information he needs to create the perfect clone of Meat Boy. There’s just one problem: the DNA sample you collected isn’t perfect, so you’re creating clones…somewhat imperfect“.

Puzzles, action and a lot of blood

The scenarios are inspired by super meat boy and Super Meat Boy Forever like the picturesque forest, the hospital and the Salt Factory in a new format inspired by Puyo Puyo. “However, in Dr. Fetus’ Mean Meat Machine it will not be enough to combine at least 4 clones of the same type and create incredible combos, You will also have to avoid dangers and deadly traps, such as saws, rockets and pendulums.!
