Dying Light 2: Stay Human Details Cooperative Mode; shared progress and more

Dying Light 2: Stay Human is just around the corner; the launch will take place next february 4 on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One and Techland continues to offer details on what awaits us. This time, it is the cooperative way, one of the most important features that we already saw in the first installment. The Polish study has confirmed that we will be able to enjoy practically the entire adventure in the company of other players.

Those responsible for the title have clarified that the first thing we will find will be a prologue that we must play alone, but as soon as we complete it we will be able to enter the cooperative game. As for how the shared progress works, there is an important detail to take into account: as they have explained to the Game Rant medium, only the host will progress in their world (story, missions), while in the case of the guests it will be limited to the evolution of the character. By last, As far as decisions are concerned, a voting period will be opened for players to choose their favorite option.

An ambitious sequel

Almost 7 years have passed since the premiere of the first installment; It was in 2015 when Techland surprised us with a peculiar vision of the zombie holocaust in the form of an action sandbox with parkour mechanics. On this occasion, the second part will take us to the city of villedor and the title will have a powerful narrative load, in which the player’s decisions will not be lacking, among other RPG elements. Dying Light 2: Stay Human will be out next february 4 on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. The Nintendo Switch version will arrive (via the cloud) sometime in 2022. This is due to a delay; Techland needs at least another half year to work on it.
