Dying Light 2: Stay Human surprises with its duration; the campaign lasts more than 70 hours

Dying Light 2: Stay Human is coming next February 4th to PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One. And while we await its launch, it seems that Techland does not want to waste a single day in their plans to constantly share new details of the game; If yesterday we told you what its progression system will be like, today it is the turn of the million dollar question: how long does it last? The Polish study surprised everyone last night, ensuring that the experience can even exceed 500 hours. Of course, to the surprise of the users, those responsible for the title decided to clarify the details quickly.

How many hours do we need to complete the story and 100%?

The first message published on Twitter compared the estimated 500 hours of duration to fully exploit all the possibilities of the game, and ironized that it is more or less how long it would take to travel on foot from Warsaw to Madrid. But nevertheless, they immediately wanted to clarify that a player can take much less time to achieve it, and that this figure referred to exploring each building, unlocking all the endings, and doing things beyond completing all the missions. In almost any case, the following tweet explained that “it can be done in less than 100 hours.”

As for a normal game focused on beat the story and complete all the side missions, the study estimates a duration of between 70 and 80 hours, a figure that also indicates that we are facing a fairly long video game.
