Ed-0: Zombie Uprising prepares its launch in July for PC, PlayStation and Xbox

It’s hard to offer a fresh take on the zombie concept, but the upcoming Ed-0: Zombie Uprising seems to offer something we rarely see. It is a Japanese adventure set in the Edo era.

Here we will be able to play with classic Japanese archetypes (a ninja, a samurai and a sumo wrestler) in a world invaded by the walking dead. Ed-0: Zombie Uprising has elements of pure roguelike and “everything is randomly generated every time you play” to make sure the game has something new to offer every time you fancy zombie action.

Combine this with a pretty cool visual style, and it looks like a game worth checking out. It’s been available as early access on Steam to mostly positive reviews, and in a new trailer, it’s confirmed that Ed-0: Zombie Uprising is finally ready to release as a finished product – and it’s also coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
