Elden Ring modders test their bosses against one of the biggest events in their history

The history of the Elden Ring is one full of great events and mysteries that occurred before our character arrived in the Middle Lands. From the origins of the goddess Márika to cosmic gods that are out of our vision, there is much hidden and that we have not gotten to witness in the FromSoftware title.

One of the things that marked, without a doubt, the present and future of your world is the night of the black knives, which is discussed in the opening cinematic of the game. The assassins went for Godwyn, son of Márika who doesn’t appear as a boss in the game because, well, he’s dead. But what if they hadn’t stopped there?

One of the traditions behind From games has always been to see how the bosses of the game would play against each other, leaving the player aside, and Elden Ring is being a gold mine for this. Today, thanks to the modder BjornTheBear we have a rather peculiar example of that: several of the main bosses of the game facing 9 assassins of the Black Knives and their boss, Alecto.

As might be expected, many of these opponents succumb to the infinity of blows they receive from the hooded army. Almost without letting them breathe, it is almost hypnotic to witness how the enemies that cost us so much take a spoonful of their own medicine. And yet there are surprises.

I’m not going to reveal more to you, but I recommend you watch the video until the second end. The Midlands are full of unexpected events, and the rise of a true champion can be something that surprises you and cheerful in equal parts. Of course, if what interests you is to modify your game to live new experiences, remember that its most ambitious project is currently under development.
