Elden Ring: They manage to make the secret coliseum work and point to a possible DLC

At the beginning of last month the community of Elden Ring discovered that in some corners of the Midlands there are some buildings reminiscent of Roman amphitheaters, more popularly known as coliseums. These arenas are closed tight in the commercial version of the game, although using external tools data miners have managed to access them in the PC version. That yes, until now nobody had obtained Activate the building, so only videos of the completely empty coliseum structure had been posted.

However, user Sekiro Dubi has posted a new video which sheds some more light on this mysterious coliseum of Elden Ring. As he explains, he has used the software DS Map Studio to access the amphitheater in the Leyndell area and what he has found inside is truly amazing: not only has he found a grace place in which it is possible to rest and level up, like in any other, but also in the center of the arena there is a confrontation between two enemies, a gladiator and a giant lion.

Possible DLC during the era of King Consort Radagon?

As you can see, the discovery that in the secret coliseum of the Elden Ring there are enemies fighting each other and a fully functional Place of Grace encourages the data miners to think that this could be more than just cropped content. According to the theories of the people who are working on uncovering this mystery, these buildings could be part of a future DLC for the FromSoftware game, especially considering that just outside the amphitheater we find the Ritual shield talisman, whose description refers to these confrontations: “The custom disappeared during the era of King Consort Radagonbut remains of the enclosures in which this ritual combat took place can still be found in all the territories”.

Could these buildings be a clue that Elden Ring receive a DLC set before the events of the main story, during the era of King Radagon? At the moment, this information is just conjecture, so we will have to wait to find out if there will be expansions with this type of content or not.

Elden Ring It is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One and PC. You can read our review here and take a look at our guide here.
