Assassin’s Creed Shadows trailer introduces feudal Japan

During Apple WWDC 2024, Ubisoft released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The images present the game’s open world and show how Yasuke and Naoe’s adventure will portray the scenes of feudal Japan.

Over the course of almost a minute, players can observe different oriental landscapes. The highlight is the fidelity in reconstructing temples, gardens, forests and large mountainous areas — all with a strong 16th century aesthetic.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be released on November 15th for PS5, Xbox Series and PC. The title is already available for pre-order on the PS Store, starting at R$349.90 in three editions.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows gameplay will be balanced

Ubisoft revealed that Assassin’s Creed Shadows will have a “balanced approach” between Yasuke and Naoe. Players will be able to choose any of the protagonists for most of the campaign, but some narrative events will be locked to one of them.
