During a recent interview with Dexerto.com, Elizabeth Yu, who plays Princess Azula in the live-action adaptation, announced that she would choose bloodbending as her power: “If you want to delve into the darkness, there is bloodbending, which is very versatile.

Blood manipulation appears in the series while Katara practices with a new teacher, Hama. The latter excels in water control, and even discovered a new trail after her imprisonment by the Fire Nation.

In addition to Water, she can therefore manipulate Blood. The technique allows him to make his target move as he wishes, turning his opponents into real puppets. The practice is prohibited in anime, in particular because it endangers the mental health of the user.

At this point, Netflix still has not officially confirmed the production of a season 2 for Avatar: The Last Airbender. We will therefore have to make do for the moment with the eight episodes, available on the streaming platform since February 22.
