Hasbro couldn't be happier with Baldur's Gate 3. Voted Game of the Year 2023 at The Game Awards, Larian Studios' RPG has already raised US$90 million (around R$450 million in direct conversion) for the company since its launch in August last year.

In statements reproduced by Bloomberg, Chris Cocks, CEO of the company, even believes that “in 2024, in the first half of the year, it will still be possible to see a ballast of Baldur's Gate 3”. The trend is that it will be possible to surpass the US$ 100 million mark generated by the game.

Obviously, sales are expected to fall in the coming months, as the title is on its way to completing a year on the market, but possible promotions and constant praise from the press and players with positive experience in the game could help give the game extra momentum.

Baldur's Gate 3 reaches half a million reviews on Steam

Baldur's Gate 3 is a sales and review success. And the founder of Larian Studios, the game's developer, loves reading what people are saying about the 2023 GOTY according to The Game Awards. There are already more than 500 thousand on Steam alone.

In publication on social networkSwen Vicke thanked us for the affection and spoke about the repercussions: “Thank you all! Half a million is really a huge number. I wish I could get everyone in one place, shake their hands and talk about their adventures. But since I can’t do that, these reviews are super fun.”
