Currently, the publisher's employees receive around US$1,560, but in fiscal year 2025, this amount will rise to US$2,000.

The explanation for this change? “An investment for the people who support the company’s future.” Furthermore, now the idea is to seek many new talents for the company:

The Capcom group is focused on strengthening its development and technology capabilities to create world-class games in order to increase sustainable corporate value. To promote its investment strategy in Human Resources, one of the company's biggest priorities, since 2022 it has carried out a series of initiatives to invest in its people.

Dragon's Dogma 2

Still in fiscal year 2024, a 5% increase for employees will come into effect in April. It is worth remembering that this increase to value employees occurred on another occasion, in 2022.

This measure is surprisingly positive given the current scenario of layoffs and crises faced by the games industry. With Dragon's Dogma 2 on the way, the success of Resident Evil 4 in 2023, and other projects in progress, the company is going against the tide that is plaguing studios around the world.
