Chaos Gate details combat and exploration

Complex Games released several new features for Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters, through extended gameplay. The video features more than five minutes of content and highlights tactical combat, progression mechanics and exploration.

The trailer consists of an overview and shows how players will be able to fight hordes of demons through familiar elements from the franchise. The heavyweight protectors return for another expedition and must work as a team to prevent the rise of an evil spread across the galaxy.

In Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters, Gray Knights have access to a new batch of equipment, unlockable skills and a robust customization function. Furthermore, each unit has its own attributes, which must be used in order to maximize efficiency.

The game also includes a loadout feature, XCOM-style camera perspectives, scenarios full of details and secrets and the participation of actor Andy Serkis (The Lord of the Rings, Planet of the Apes) as commander of the Space Marines. Watch the gameplay below:

Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters is available for PC. The game will arrive on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series on February 20th. PlayStation versions can be reserved in the digital store with a 10% discount for PS Plus subscribers.
