Compare Dragon's Dogma 2 on PS5 vs. PC vs. PC Xbox Series

The ElAnalistadeBits channel shared a video with the definitive performance analysis of Dragon's Dogma 2. The clip places the PS5, Xbox Series and PC versions side by side, to compare various aspects such as resolution, performance and technical effects.

According to the images, the Xbox Series S offers a dynamic resolution of 1440p, maintaining around 35 frames per second. Meanwhile, the Xbox Series X achieves dynamic 2160p and an average rate of 40 FPS. Both maintain similarities in temporal reconstruction and unlocked frame rate.

On the other hand, Dragon's Dogma 2 on PS5 guarantees dynamic resolution of 2160p and an average performance of 38 FPS, accompanied by the same temporal reconstruction and unlocking features as its competitors.

However, it is in the PC realm where graphics reach their peak. Maximum settings provide 2160p, balanced DLSS and ray tracing enabled. These technologies are possible due to the use of an RTX 4080, an i9 12900K processor, 32GB of DDR5 RAM and an NVMe SSD.

Regardless of platform, Dragon's Dogma 2 maintains a single display setting. The game incorporates ray tracing for global illumination on all platforms with no option to disable, with the exception of the Xbox Series S. However, this does not affect shadows and reflections.

Although all console versions have unlocked FPS, ranging between 30 and 45 FPS, the Xbox Series X version has a slightly higher average compared to the PS5. In graphics, the PC leads, while only the Xbox Series has limitations in surface textures and reflections.
